The Mornington Peninsula Shire has secured funding through the Victorian Government’s Tiny Towns Grant scheme to upgrade signage along the Red Hill Rail Trail – an important link in the Peninsula Trail network.
Council is requesting feedback on its website on what signage visitors and locals would like to see. They are looking for examples of ‘great signage’ on other local or Victorian trails – users can let them know what trail and what made the signage great.
It’s also an opportunity for users to provide general feedback on the trail.
Consultation closes on 23 January, 2026, with signage expected to be installed mid-year.
