Register for news updatesWarburton Rail Trail (Victoria) – Tourist Interpretation Shelter Opening
A new tourist interpretation shelter will be officially opened at Wandin, 50km east of Melbourne on Saturday 16 June. The Mayor of the Shire of Yarra Ranges, Cr Tim Heenan, will be performing the opening at 10:30am. If coming by car the shelter is at the Wandin car park on the Warburton Highway.
Light refreshments will be served after. This notice is a little late but RSVP Liz by email or SMS: 0407 587 194
The opening will also be a chance to meet the former voluntary committee of management who have done such a great job in developing this very popular rail trail.
Wandin is an intermediate town on the 40km long picturesque rail trail. Click here for more information on the rail trail including map.
