Despite a lot of rain, the Friends of the Great Southern Rail Trail had a very successful weekend on 13/14 November.
Two train trips were run on the local tourist railway, a dinner train on Saturday night and a breakfast train on the Sunday. The dinner trail was very popular with two carriages filled to capacity. The meal was served at the refreshment rooms at Korumburra Railway Station. An auction of local paintings and other craft was also held as a fund-raiser.
