On Sunday 14th January 2007 the South Gippsland Tourist Railway is celebrating the reopening of their railway line to Loch with a special running day.
The Great Southern Rail Trail will provide guides from local Rail Trail groups to conduct walking & riding tours from along the rail trail from Leongatha. A Bike Special will leave Loch at 8.00am and return from Leongatha at 5.15pm. Bikes travel free.
Other special events will also be occurring throughout the day.
