Register for news updates‘Cycle Dindi’ on the Great Victorian Rail Trail returns for sixth year
Cycle Dindi is returning to the Great Victorian Rail Trail (GVRT) on Saturday, 2 April. Organised by the Rotary Clubs of Yea and Alexandra, it’s a charity bike ride along the GVRT with a variety of starting locations and distances. Monies raised will be used to support Rotary youth projects in the area.
Cyclists have three start options converging on Cathkin to relax and enjoy a BBQ lunch (included in entry fee) and coffee beside the picturesque Goulburn River. Start options:
- Alexandra to Cathkin ‒ 26kms return
- Yea to Cathkin – 42kms return
- Merton to Cathkin – 51kms return.
How much:
- Adults $45.00
- Seniors $35.00
- School age children $10.00
For those riding from Yea, price includes the added attraction of a Devonshire Tea in a shearing shed followed by a sheep dog demonstration, plus riding through the iconic Cheviot Tunnel.
