Tour de Trail returns in 2023. Cyclists of all ages are invited to ride the Great Victorian Rail
Trail (GVRT) for fun and fitness on Sunday, March 12. Starting and finishing in Mansfield,
this out-and-back ride provides a choice of two destinations; Maindample (28kms return) or
Bonnie Doon (44kms return) which includes riding across the iconic Lake Eildon rail trail
bridge. Experience beautiful views with gradual gradients and a traffic free environment.
Organised by the ‘Friends of the GVRT’, entry fee includes refreshments (tea/coffee/cold
drinks plus a muffin) with a coffee van at either turn around location before returning to
Mansfield where you will be treated to a sausage sizzle by one of our community groups.
The event is sponsored by the Bendigo Bank, Mansfield and District. On-site activities at the
Mansfield Station precinct will include live music, a coffee van plus some displays by local
tourism operators.
How much:
- Individual (adults over 18-years) $20.00
- School age child (5 to 18 years) $10.00
- Family (2 adults, 2 children) $45.00

Did this ride a couple of years ago (pre Covid) Great day out, and very well organised. Another one of the really good rail trails in Victoria.
