The tunnel is lovely – you can find glow worms if you are quiet (might need to be close to dusk as we were). There is also some interesting mining heritage in the vicinity of the carpark. However, starting where we did we found it difficult to follow the rail trail, as there are multiple tracks and historic mining areas in the vicinity. Suggest starting at the West Coast MTB – Oonah Hill mountain bike trail sign you will see on the way in and following the markers from there. There are lots of MTB trails in this area if you want to do more.
