The first 7ks, the track stopped and started leaving on choice but to ride on the Hwy. Not fan. No signs for the trail ,we headed off into the bush, saw a couple of info signs, must be on the right path. Then started seeing white tape on trees which we followed, into the bush. Ever thickening bush. Until we through in the towel. Returned via a firetrail/track. When we got back to our bush entry, 20 metres away is the old rail corridor. No signs anywhere.

Well worth taking this trail during spring and the Ravensthorpe Wildflower Show and Herbarium. Early September, with Mallie Fowl nests to discover.
I have maintained the trail with my husband and mother from Hopetoun to the Dunns Cottage area. Signage needs renewing, though mostly well-defined rail trail formations.
